This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, process, store, and protect information when you use the PixPlus mobile application and related services (the "Services"). |
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when using the Services, including:
- Photos and images uploaded by you
- Videos uploaded by you, where applicable
- Text prompts and generation instructions submitted by you
- Account information, if applicable
- Customer support communications
Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect limited technical information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, including:
- Device information
- Operating system version
- App version
- Device identifiers
- Language settings
- Log information
- Crash reports
- Analytics data
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information only for the purposes described below:
- Provide AI-powered image and video generation services requested by users
- Generate AI avatars, talking photo animations, image-to-video content, portrait enhancements, and other AI-powered visual effects
- Process user prompts and generation instructions
- Improve application performance, stability, and user experience
- Respond to customer support requests
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, detect fraud, and troubleshoot technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use uploaded user content, uploaded photos or videos, prompts, or face data for advertising, behavioral profiling, user tracking, or unrelated purposes.
3. Face Data Collection and Processing
Certain PixPlus features may process images or videos that contain human faces. Face-related processing occurs only when a user voluntarily uploads media and requests an AI generation feature.

Face data may include:
- Facial imagery contained in uploaded photos or videos
- Facial landmarks
- Facial geometry
- Facial contours
- Facial positioning information
- Facial feature representations necessary for visual alignment and generation
What PixPlus Does Not Do
PixPlus does not use face data for any of the following purposes:
- Facial recognition
- Identity verification
- Biometric authentication
- User identification
- Law enforcement processing
- Advertising, profiling, tracking, or unrelated purposes
How Face Data Is Used
Face data is used solely to provide user-requested AI creative features, such as AI avatar generation, talking photo animation, image-to-video generation, portrait enhancement, and AI-powered visual effects. PixPlus does not currently provide a Face Swap feature in the app.
4. User Consent for AI Processing
Before any AI generation begins, PixPlus displays an in-app AI processing consent screen. This screen explains what data may be sent, who receives it, why it is sent, how long it is retained, and provides links to the PixPlus Privacy Policy and RunningHub Privacy Policy.
The consent screen states that uploaded photos, uploaded videos where applicable, text prompts, generation instructions, and face-related data contained in uploaded media may be processed by PixPlus and our authorized AI processing provider, RunningHub, solely to generate the AI content requested by the user.
Users must tap “Agree & Continue” before AI processing begins. If a user declines or cancels, AI generation will not start and no data will be sent to RunningHub for that request.
5. AI Processing and Third-Party Service Provider
To provide AI-powered features, PixPlus may securely transmit only the data necessary for the user-requested generation to our authorized AI processing provider, RunningHub.

We require authorized service providers to implement reasonable security measures and provide the same or equivalent level of protection for user data as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information or face data to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
6. AI Model Training
Neither PixPlus nor its authorized AI processing provider uses uploaded photos, videos, prompts, generation instructions, or face data to train artificial intelligence models without obtaining separate explicit user consent.
7. Data Retention
We have adopted a segmented data retention policy so that uploaded media, face data, generated content, and operational logs are handled separately. PixPlus does not retain face data indefinitely.

Users may delete generated content earlier through the application where the feature is available. Users may also request account and associated personal information deletion by contacting PixPlus.
8. Prompt Safety and Content Governance
PixPlus operates safety controls to prevent prohibited or unsafe AI generation. If a prompt attempts to generate nudity, undressing, sexualized content, intimate contact, or other prohibited content, PixPlus may block the request or use an AI safety layer, including Qwen-based prompt review and safe rewriting, to transform the request toward a fully clothed and appropriate output. If a prompt cannot be made safe, generation will not proceed.
PixPlus also uses moderation and review processes for templates and AI effects. Templates that fail safety or compliance review are not published.
9. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
With authorized service providers, including RunningHub, solely for providing the AI processing services requested by the user.
Legal Requirements
When required by applicable law, regulation, court order, legal process, or governmental request.
Protection of Rights and Safety
To protect the rights, safety, property, users, or security of PixPlus and others, including abuse prevention and fraud detection.
We do not sell personal information, uploaded content, or face data to third parties.
10. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and uploaded content from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
PixPlus is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent where applicable
- Request information regarding our processing activities

13. Account and Content Deletion
Users may delete generated content directly within the application where the deletion feature is available. Users may also request deletion of their account and associated personal information by contacting PixPlus. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal, security, and operational requirements.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
